That's fine but not so fine.
When I read such stories I instantly thinking about similar "moral" stories of the Victorian era in which poor poeple looks to had been founded a kind of "proletarian" happiness. If it's so nice , why change this situation, right?
The sad FACT is the vast majority of Homeless poeples lived in a Third World conditions in the middle of so-called advanced societies and disappear in the public domain's view as well as the background of a well know urban landscape.
Citizens, how can we accept this for thousands of our cocitizens and stay unashamed?
Did we lost all of our goodwill and honour, which are the frame of our Commonwealth or, in an other word, our Republic?
Homeless poeples needs a HOME (first!). I mean a place to live in private, with clean water (cold and warm), a confortable and clean bed and enough food.
I don't mean they don't need a Personnal Computer and an Internet access...
The fact of the live is, if you reduced a human to a minimal (and under minimal) condition of life, this drive poeples into a subhuman condition like in the infamous KZ (Konzentration Lager).
The (non official but real) minimal economical needs are necessary as well a some 'luxury' stuff because 'useless' and 'unbasic' things are also important even they are useless AND because they are...
Want to help Third World poeple? Good: start with the 3rd world just around you pal.
In other word, poeple needs Bread and Roses (Karl Marx).
That's my Not So Humble Opinion in this sunday.
